Fomu (#025) is a waterWater Type Temtem.
It evolves into Wiplump after 20 levels.

Appearance & Personality[edit | edit source]

Fomu has a blue, rounded body with four small, stubby legs. Underneath its belly extending onto its two back legs, it has a darker turquoise colour which is also present on the tips of its front feet. Fomu's entire backside is covered with a foam-like substance, and a singular strand of the foam sticks out from its forehead. Below the strand are the Temtem's eyes, which are shown to be closed, and in place of a nose, Fomu has an orange horn.

These Temtem are known for their capacity to generate vapor, like charming little steam engines. Since that means losing a lot of moisture, this species prefers to remain in the water and use steam jets for propulsion rather than its short legs.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Fomu's name is derived from foam.
  • Due to its first appearance as a cropped picture in the competitive set-up screen (top left, under the player avatar), users in the official Discord attempted to draw out the rest of the creature. Among the drawings, a bird with human-like legs became popular, and thus the name "Legbird" was coined.
