Items are objects that are stored in the Backpack and can be used for a wide variety of applications. They are classified automatically when obtained according to their in-game purpose. Each player can hold up to 99 copies of each item.

Types of Items[edit | edit source]

General[edit | edit source]

General items cannot be used during combat. It includes items such as Scent or Smoke Bomb, that affect the player and its interaction with the world, as well as items with no in-game uses that can be exchanged for Pansuns. They are consumed when used.

Capture items can only be used during combat and serve to tame Temtem. It comprises the different varieties of TemCards that are available. They are consumed when used.

Medicine[edit | edit source]

Medicine items can be used either during or outside combat and affect the status or stats of Temtem. It includes items that restore HP and STA, as well as items that revive downed Temtem and heal Status Conditions. They are consumed when used. The three main types of medicine are Combat Medicine, TV Fruits, and Telemore Hacks.

Combat Medicine is used to restore HP, Stamina, and remove Status Conditions. They can be used during combat, but take up a Temtem's turn.

TV Fruits, sold either at the Mokupuni Fruit Co-op or FreshFruit Candies, are used to manipulate a Temtem's TVs outside of combat.

Telemore Hacks are used to perminently increase a Temtem'sSV by 1. However, if it has more than 1 fertility, 1 is consumed. There is no place to purchase them; they can only be found as FreeTem! rewards.

Gear[edit | edit source]

Gear items can be equipped to Temtem and produce different purposes. Some gear is useful for PvE content, some PvP, others uses for TV training, and some for breeding. Most gear cannot be traded and are not consumed when equipped, except DNA Strands, which are consumed upon use.

The first class of gear, PvE Gear, is used for combat, but aren't helpful for fighting players.

DNA strands are gears that influence breeding by guaranteeing specific SVs are passed on from one parent, uninfluenced by the other, or by passing on a trait slot. They can be purchased from the Breeding Center shopkeeper.
