Status Conditions

Status Conditions are passive effects that can be applied in Combat to a Temtem through the use of a Technique or through the activation of a Trait. There are 14 different conditions, each with its own distinct effect. A Temtem can have up to 2 active Status Conditions at a time, and when a new Status Condition is applied, the oldest active one is removed. They are also non-volatile, which means that statuses can't be removed by swapping Temtem, and remain even when you exit combat. Their duration is not fixed, but it changes depending on the Technique that inflicted such Status Condition.

Cold ConditionCold and Frozen ConditionFrozen[edit | edit source]

If Cold ConditionCold is afflicted twice, the Temtem becomes Frozen ConditionFrozen. Frozen ConditionFrozen Temtem cannot attack, but they can rest normally. Cold ConditionCold and Frozen ConditionFrozen also serve to erase the Burned ConditionBurned Condition from a Temtem, while Burned ConditionBurned erases both Cold ConditionCold and Frozen ConditionFrozen.

Asleep ConditionAsleep[edit | edit source]

Asleep ConditionAsleep Temtem cannot attack, but if they are damaged, they wake up (the condition is removed). Any damage that is done to the Temtem will remove the Asleep ConditionAsleep Condition, including damage from other conditions like Burned ConditionBurned or Poisoned ConditionPoison. Upon waking, the Temtem will gain the Alerted ConditionAlerted Condition until the end of the next turn.mentalMental type Temtem are immune against this condition.

Burned ConditionBurned Temtem lose 1/16 of health every turn and it reduces both attack and special attack by 30%. Temtem of the fireFire Type are immune against this condition. The Burned ConditionBurned condition erases Cold ConditionCold and Frozen ConditionFrozen when applied to a Temtem, while both can similarly erase the Burned ConditionBurned from a Temtem.
