Amphatyr are a prime example of 'cervus electricus', agile and majestic. Their mating habit of locking horns causes beautiful displays of electric sparks and discharge arcs that have been compared to tiny aurorae.

Amphatyr's name is derived from Ampere and Satyr.
- The name of Amphatyr was proposed by a community member (ItsTomas) of the official Discord, and later chosen as the winner during the Choose a Temtem names poll in the 6th update of Temtem's Kickstarter.
